About KiddingZone
About
Kids are just exceptional people. However, it takes so much to understand and develop their interests. We are ourselves passionate cyclists and have interacted with cycling — or yet-to-start cycling — families. One of the hardest parts is deciding to purchase something for the kids. It is for this reason that KiddingZone was conceived in 2016, but we got online in 2017.
KiddingZone started with a simple idea sparked from interaction with kids and families. We needed to ensure that parents complained less about purchases for their kids, and that gifts got accepted when bought for kids.
KiddingZone is an online resource for parents, seeking to provide their children with quality products. The site helps families make informed purchases regarding bikes, bike accessories, helmets, fitness trackers, and products that encourage children's active lifestyles — including child bike seats, trailers, and cargo bikes.
Mission: To get as many kids active as possible with the aim of raising fit and happy kids.
How we work
We achieve our mission through five key approaches:
- Testing actual products using kids — Volunteer testers evaluate products with checklists completed by team members before we publish any review.
- Surveying parents — We collect feedback from parents regarding their purchases, incorporating their real-world experiences into our review content.
- Informative buying guides — We publish how-to-choose guides covering helmets, balance bikes, pedal bikes, trailer cycles, bike trailers, child bike seats, and fitness trackers, helping you make confident purchasing decisions.
- Curated best picks — Lists highlighting products that have genuinely impressed our team, focused on practical details rather than marketing features.
- In-depth reviews — Single and comparative product reviews that give you comprehensive, specific information to support your decision.
Business model
KiddingZone does not sell products directly. The site functions as an advisory resource that links to retailers. We generate revenue through affiliate commissions and advertising from like-minded brands. Our editorial opinions are never for sale — if we don't think a product is worth buying, we say so. See our Affiliate Disclosure for full details.
We actively welcome reader feedback. If you have suggestions or would like to contribute, please get in touch.
